Summer

Holidays in Austria's most beautiful village: this means fresh air, lush meadows and breath-taking scenery. Whether you want to hike, cycle, paraglide, swim, play tennis or just relax - Alpbach is always the right place.
The village's character is unique in Europe. Alpbach is also famous for the international congress "European Forum Alpbach" which has been taking place here every summer since 1945 and which is an important platform for economists, scientists, politicians and artists. The new Congress Centre Alpbach and its genious architecture have put Alpbach well in tune with the new millenium.
The unique location between the Kitzbühler and Ziller Valley Alps offers a beautiful picture book mountain setting. A hiker’s paradise with over 900 km marked hiking and walking paths guarantee pure mountain pleasure!
The Wiedersbergerhornbahn takes you up to 1.850 m altitude to the beautiful high pastures and hiking area around the Wiedersbergerhorn.
Highlight:Lauserland – adventure playground at the top station of the Wiedersbergerhornbahn.
There are a lot of interesting spots to visit in the area if you would like to have a rest from walking ...

Glastown Rattenberg (the smallest town in Austria)
